New Pacific School is a small school, open to all students, that connects students, family and school with the unique option of a hands-on, project-based curriculum where teachers serve as guides and encourage a collaborative student. centered environment. New Pacific School is part of the Pacific Charter Institute (PCI), a nonprofit organization established by educators in Sacramento in 2005. PCI has extensive experience serving students and families in Northern California, including New Pacific. Pacific School – Roseville, which opened this fall. With the green light from the FCUSD School Board, New Pacific School members will begin enrolling students at the Rancho Cordova site in the next school year.
“We heard a strong desire for something different from the families of Rancho Cordova,” said PCI Executive Director Dr. Paul Keefer. “We are excited to get started and do our part for the community!”
New Pacific School – Rancho Cordova will provide families south of Highway 50 in Rancho Cordova with a small, hands-on school with foreign language and arts at all levels, before and after school care, inclusive student options disabilities and a whole child approach / Inquiry-based learning.
