CINCINNATI, OH, Sept. 07, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ — The Exit Planning Institute™, in cooperation with a collaborative team of leading Cincinnati market advisors and leaders, are joining forces to launch the Cincinnati Chapter of the ‘Exit Planning Institute on September 28, 2022, hosted at The Kenwood Towers, Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, OH 45236. This local chapter is unlike many other professional networking organizations in the market. The PPE Chapter is cross-functional, meaning it attracts and engages advisors, experts, thought leaders, media and business owners from diverse backgrounds. These leaders engage in exit planning and value acceleration education that ensures local market continuity and improves success rates for transitioning businesses as owners look to their future.
As evidenced by the vast amount of recent research, including the State of Owner Readiness™ survey, the US landscape is poised to transform six million businesses over the next 5-10 years. Baby boomer business owners are retiring at a rapid pace, and these same owners own 66% of all businesses in the United States of America. According to recent research conducted by EPI, most baby boomer owners have failed to consider their ultimate exit transition. Statistics show that only two out of ten companies in the market are selling. Without proper planning, owners run the risk of getting their business priced below what they need, or even worse, not selling at all.
“Most business owners only have one chance to sell or transfer their business. Our mission is to educate, support and prepare owners and their trusted advisors to create the best possible outcome. This chapter is responsible for beginning this process years before a sale, to ensure that the owner maximizes the sale of their business, that their family is financially prepared, and that they have a plan for what comes next.
– Tyler Holocher, CEPA, CFP President, Cincinnati Chapter
